I want to know how to connect two computers to transfer data.

In control panel open network and internet connections and then network connections and the local area connection and the follow the steps in wizard.

Are you two joined at the hip?

I have my two computers connected (networked) by a firewire (1394) cable...

PC Two Computers


DEAR,

PL GO TO THE NETWORK
LOCAL ARIA NETWORK AND GIVE TO 1 PC IP TO (1) PC 192.168.0.1
SUB MASK 255.255.255.0
(2) PC 192.168.0.2
SUB MASK 255.255.255.0


AND RIGHT CLICK ON THE MY COMPUTER GO TO THE PROPERTIES /COMPUTER NAME/GIVE WORKGROUP NAME AS A WORKGROUP IN BOTH COMPUTERS.

AND ATTATCH LAN CROSS CABLE.


AND GO TO THE 1 PC START/RUN AND TYPE PING 192.168.0.2 -t
and enter you can recive ping.

your network with both pc


and brosing network by netwok place/view as workgroup computers

go to network properties configure the ip address as 192.168.1.1 forthe pc 1
then go to the network properties of the other computer there in ip address give 192.168.1.2
connect a parralel RJ45 lan wire .Share the drive you need to connect
got run commmand and give ping 192.168.1.1 or 2 as per connection
