Hi, Is it possible to double the ram module by soldering double ram-chips on to the existing ones?

In a nutshell....NO!
Double density ram is performed by specific mirrored chips that are mounted to opposite sides of the board and controlled by a mini processor to enhance the operation of the memory modules.
