A 7800 on AGPwould be nice, but I dont think it is a fast enough interface to transfer data fast enough to keep up with the card. Its like downloading a file from a fast server on a dial up connection, it is limited by the connection. Also, Im sure a company would have made one if it was viable. Would be nice though, all my systems are AGP.

I am not normally one for signing petitions, but perhaps I will sign this one. If for no other reason than I am slow to act and cheap to spend. I am trying to hold out before doing a total system upgrade, and I could probably squeeze 6-9 months out of my current hardware if I could upgrade to a 7800 AGP. I will be first to admit I do not know if the interface would be a hinderance or not. I just would like to be able to get into the next generation of video cards without having to build an entirely new pc. Unfortunately not many components cross over, so it is one of the bigger upgrades I have faced. If I could get an AGP 7800 I could continue to use my current system for gaming and build my new system over time. If not I am going to have to spend significantly more money in a shorter period of time.
