Default No Sound after removing USB headset?!

Hey,

My speakers were working fine just a while ago but when I removed the USB headset I had plugged in, the audio just stopped working. How do I fix this?? Thanks.

P.S. the drivers are up to date.

I have the same problem. After I removed a USB headset from my system, the line-out speakers, or the main two speakers. My subwoofer, rear and center speaker work fine, and are detected, but the front left and right speakers aren't being detected.

As you can see in the above picture, it simply isn't being detected.

Having a fair rage at my PC because of this. Wonder if anyone could help

The front jacks work, however, so it's not the speakers. Sound comes through fine on both headset and speakers through the front lineout jack, but it's just the rear.

A note on the above post, you also may want to go into the Advanced setting on the audio sound playback and look at the speaker setup settings. There are numerous settings that you can choose so you may want to choose one that has multiple speakers.

Hope this helps...I am only using basic speakers lol.
