Hello

The memory that a motherboard can handle is pc266/pc200 ddr. Is it also possible to use pc400 to that motherboard? Thanks..

Motherboard : ECS P4VMM2 v.8.1
Processor: P4/533 Mhz

Windows Memory

Hi There

Depends , if it is DDR no 1 then no.

PC 400 sounds like DDR2 which is more advanced

you will have to purchase a new board with DDR 2 support

if you got problems

mail me

Regards

Roger

theoretically it will fit the board then, but even if it works, it will only run with the same bus speed as PC266, as this is the fastest your motherboard can handle.

I believe PC667 was the first to be DDR2.

Everything is clear! That's what I really wanted to know. PC400 will also run at pc266 speed. Thanks, William!
