trouble Inspiron 1501 laptop drivers help me

I recently bought a new Inspiron 1501 laptop from dell. When i started getting some bad problems I completely reinstalled the operating system.
I heard that Dell usually puts the factory settings to a partition on the hard drive, unaware of this at the time I deleted it and now im missing a bunch of drivers for my computer. I was able to recover some of them from the dell.support.com website but i cant get the one for my video card. Luckily my Bros has the exact same computer with all the same stats, so I was wondering how i could burn the partition with the factory settings off of his computer and apply them to mine.

Any help wit this would be awesome.

All the way from Canada plz help, im completely stumped

as far as i know the drivers are not on that partition, it is just an emergency backup and dell splash screen info.
Just lookup your devices, video card, cd drives, etc by manufacturer and download appropriate drivers, perhaps save them in a folder and burn that for a backup.

Pc Blue Still Stumped.

Allright..
I tried install the driver for my ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 video card but it wont let me install it

it says ''Setup did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system. Setup will now exit.''

Then after this message another message comes up that says '' Setup was unable to complete the installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup.''

I'm assuming you are using Windows XP, if so the full list of drivers is available from their website

Thumbs down ?????????

I did get the drivers from the Dell Website but it does not work at all.
This is quite a predicament that i am in lol.
Dell gave me absolutely no backup cd's with my computer, Only the cd to reinstall Windows XP. I might need to call dell to ask for a backup cd.
If anyone has had problems like this plz write and give suggestions

i am completely out of ideas.

Thumbs up Finally figured it out

It took a while but I finally figured it out. lol.
Thank god that my brother had the exact same computer.
I just used Driver Magician to backup all the drivers off of his computer and then restored them onto my computer.
It worked beautifully and my computer runs great now.
Thanx anyway for the help.
