How to Rename your Recycle Bin

This tip isn’t really that necessary but for those obsessive compulsive individuals there who want to change every single detail of their computer, here is an interesting tip for you: How to change the name of the recycle bin desktop icon.

As simple and as useless as it may sound, it still takes technical efforts to execute this procedure. Perhaps “Trash” is a better name or probably “Dumpster”. It’s up to you.

Just follow these very simple steps:

1. Open regedit. (Click Start, then Run, then type regedit, then press OK button)

2. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/CLSID/{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} and change the name "Recycle Bin" to whatever name you want.
