How to Receive a Fax in Windows XP

If you can send fax through Windows XP, you can also receive one. Here's how to do it.

1. Ensure that you have enabled and configured the Fax service.

2. Point your mouse to Start and proceed to All programs. Go to Accessories then Communications. From there, point the mouse to Fax and then open the console by clicking on Fax Console.

3. Go to the File menu and click on Receive a fax now. Or you may also focus your attention to the toolbar where you'll see a button displaying a document on top of a phone handset. Click on that button.
