How to protect Drive with Policy Editor

If you want to restrict your Hard drive you can do this easily from Policy Editor.

For that we have to follow the following steps:

  1. Go start - run type gpedit.msc then press enter key from keyboard.
  2. Go to local Computer Policy/ User Configuration/Administrativ Templates/Windows Components/Windows Explorer/Prevent Access to drives from My Computer.
  3. Go to setting menu and select Enable Option. Then Select the Drive you want to restrict then press OK.

Come out from that windows or Exit. Just restart and see that when you try to enter that drive you cannot enter that drive.
