Default How to dual boot using flash drive?


Hi, I'm running vista on a toshiba satellite pro and would like to run xp aswell (not at the same timeas vista) as I have a couple of programs that does not support vista, I have bought a 16gb flash drive and legit xp complete with product key as a friend was going to help me to set it up my laptop to "daul boot?" but has moved to germany and is no longer around to help, can anybody please help??

First thing you want to do is plug in the usb flash drive into the computer. Start the computer, enter into your bios and look to see if "removable drive" is listed under your boot options. If it isnt then you will need to see if you can update the bios and then try again. If still nothing, then you can not dual boot off the usb drive. You could partition your hard drive and use part of that to dual boot.
