Arrow How do you remove a partition

Since I intalled Win 7 on my computer, I have no
use for the partion that came with the computer
originally. I have already deleted all the files in
the partition, so there is nothing I have to worry
about.
What I want to know is what is the correct way
to remove the partition safely so I can recover
that space.
Any help will be apriciated

Thanks

hello,

i havent personally tried this yet, but EaseUS Partition Master seems to do the job that you need. Ive heard about this tool too, but ive not personally tried it yet.

you can read more here:
FREE Merge partitions into bigger one with merge partition manager software in Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/Windows 7.

There is of course a warning that before you attempt working on the partitions, create a full backup of your important files and programs on a separate physical hard drive.

feel free to hit us back if you are able to use this for merging windows 7 partitions i would like to give this tool a test too when i have time
