Default How big is your RAM?

I am using double Kingston's 512MB DDR400, making a total of 1GB of RAM. Well, 512MB and 1GB is a big difference for me, my computer now doesn't slow up when I opened Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop all at once. So, I'm wondering how big your RAM is?

I've at the moment got 512MB of RAM, but am planning to make it like 4GB.

I've got 1GB dual channel, which makes my computer pretty fast. I've never had a problem and have no reason to upgrade, it's fast enough as it is for me and the types of things I do online.

I've never heard of "dual channel". Wat is the difference between the normal Ram and that?
