Pc Blue Help to configure another servers adsl modem

Help. How do you configure another servers adsl modem so that you can use it with your own server?
I was given a Siemens Speed Stream, wireless ADSL Gateway.
4 Ethernet ports and USB port.
Love to pick your brains of knowledge...Rene

Can you please provide us with more details,
You want to use this modem with different ISP (internet service provider)?
What is the model number of the modem?
What do you mean by "your own server"?

Fixed re Modem

Yes I wish to use this new modem with my internet provider (isp)
The modem given to us, is currantly configured to Bigpond, ( Australian Telstra phone service here)...

Model is SIEMENS Speed Stream 6520
Wireless ADSL Gateway.
Part Number: 060-N651-A02 Manufactred in China/assembled in China

We are with TPG isp provider here in Australia, and I need to wipe the Bigpond setting off this modem and replace them with my TPG settings.

Is there a way to do this?

thanks Rene

Hi Rene,

It appears there are lot of user's with similar problem with bigpond's firmware on SIEMENS SpeedStream 6520 router.

Since I don't have access to that router physically, I found this thread (http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...fm/317072.html) and to change settings (http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...16588#r4716588)

In summary they are saying if you update your firmware to the latest one you can change your settings. (http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...64093#r7664093)

Hopefully this is helpful to you.
