Default Has anyone seen the new Revolution control?

Has anyone seen the new Nintendo Revolution control? I looks odd a bit. You can control the games off of your remote control for your Revolution console game. And there is a second attachment (hand controller) to the bottom of the remote. Remote is wireless, but the hand controller attaches to the remote. Great concept but I wonder how quick the consumers will take to the new product of the hand controller.

It looks a bit like something else I have....um.... but it does look interesting. I wonder how odd it will be to adapt using it. I want to try it out and see though, as it might be friendly to the fingers and wrists.

I think Nintendo is taking a major risk on this one.

Then again, they have been willing to push the envelope with strange products before. Anyone remember the PowerGlove from 80s and that movie Wizard was it not?

If they succeed they will leave MS and Sony gasping.

I think Nintendo knows exactly what they are doing. The new controllers can be used like a TV control, with which everyone is familiar. You can play mini games (like the ones on DS), and that attracts everyone, young and old.

Nah I think Nintendo are grasping at straws with this. Just another gimick for their fast failing consoles.

The reason xbox pads and playstation pads have stayed the same for so long is because they work well and people know them.

OK so Sony are releasing the PS3 with that weird boomerang thing but they have said that a bluetooth compatible version of the old pad design will be available as well.

Why? Because that pad is known and loved by millions and few people will want to change.

I can see that pad being another straw on the donkeys back.....

I doubt Nintendo will ever be out of the video game business.
