Default Goooooogle Earth (Amazing)

I just installed Google Earth after the much hype and craze about it.

It is really wonderful. It was a bit slow on my machine, it looks like it needs more resources. You can browz any part of the world.. even your house too... the only thing you need is good band width with high speed.. so that it can get you clear vision.

Do you think its safe for Google Earth to expose the entire world. Someone might use this for some anti-social activities. What do you guys say?

When I first came to know of this amazing software, I was just so impressed that I spent hours exploring the world sitting on my comp and telling everyone...my friends..folks..to get this s/w and see how advanced the technology has became..! I actually spotted my own house in there, my school, college, and all the places tht I could..

Yea.. It can become quite dangerous if it gets into hands of someone out there to harm peace, and since its totally free, and exposes almost all of the corners of the world, it becomes more dangerous!

Yep, my sister downloaded it earlier and showed it to me. Pretty amazing stuff was my first response. I just love the way how smooth it runs and the navigation is really easy to use.

The only drawback is that some areas are not explored or blocked, I always wanted to see some of africa from the top, but oh well.

Also keep in mind, that it takes a few resources and a good bandwidth connection.

I love googleearth! I downloaded it when it was Keyhole and have been using it ever since. Even if you dont need to do anything, its fun to just look around.

Their coverage of sweden isn't very good (mostly low-quality images), Still it's quite good.
As I understand it it's the same photos they use in maps.google.com...

No actually it is like pictures of the earth, taken from the satellite in space. It is really cool though, cause you can look up an addresses, and see the house and everything.

This is a FANTASTIC program. I am in love with it. My only complaint is that certain areas are very fuzzy (my city, for example, is fairly small so google didn't take the time to clear it up). But it's fun to look for landmarks etc.

By the way, did anybody look for Pearl Harbor and the U.S.S. Arizona? I looked it up and you can see the ship sunken and everything! It's really creepy! It took me a while to find it but I found it eventually. PM me and I can send you the bookmark if you would like.

Yeah eShutterBUG, I can't even actually see my house, because it is so covered with trees. I kind of life out in the country. But I can see my brothers house, he lives in California, so that is cool. Just think though, one day you will be able to see peoples cars in their drive ways and things. Perhaps you will even be able to see them That would be really cool, and just a little creepy.
