Fixed general question about my slave drive

Hello,
I had installed a slave hard drive cause my master drive is getting full. It is at 5g right now and I was wondering after my master drive gets full will the over flow go to my slave drive? Right now nothing is going to my slave drive but a sliver like 1%. So that is what I need to know. I dont want my PC to lock up so better to ask now then later. My computer does see 2 hard drives.
Thanks
Anna

Hello Adeater! Welcome to Syschat =)
The "overflow" will not go automatically to your slave drive. I don't know if there is any application that can do that, but you could just transfer files manually from time to time to prevent to have your main disk get full.

Assuming the drive is installed correctly, it should be visible under my computer. When a secondary (slave) drive is installed it is not added to the size of your primary (master/boot) drive, but rather it becomes extra storage just like a flash drive or cd burner which needs to be accessed by it's drive letter.
