Forgotten Password

Hi, My daughter cannot remember her password to her laptop. The operating system is Windows XP. She is the administrator. As another user, I tried to disable her account but the system cannot recognize me as the administrator. I am at a loss of what to do next. Please can someone help? Thanks.
