trouble dual booting

Hi everyone,
I have read your instructions on installing XP after Vesta. My problem is after installing XP, I am getting the usual blue screen. I am supposed to insert the Vesta CD to fix the MBR. I have a special CD that came with my Acer notebook and unfortunately I don't the option of repair, so I end up with reinstalling Vesta and all the attempt of installing XP becomes worthless. Any ideas how to overcome this issue.
Thanks

Do not use vista boot mgr fix on mbr. you can try free stuff like boot us. install boot manager to drive and select OS to boot.

If you need to reinstall Vista, why not start fresh and install XP first and then Vista 2nd. You still end up with the Dual Boot you are looking for.

you may still have some major issues on startup! and its also known that in SOME cases vista only lets you UPGRADE not dual boot. And even if you do get it to dual boot vista will get a habit of running disk check every time your PC starts!!!
