sorry but i did not find any improvement. my mouse i felt is more stickier than before. that's my basis. i asked the removal of the above setting so that i can compare the performance of my pc on what i have before. i do not know if the 2 x 512mb memory sticks installed are recognized as 512mb only or 1024mb since it runs in dual channel mode. in bios, the registered is 1024mb. also with 8mb shared memory on onboard vga. thanks.

I got it. The setting, ConservativeFileSwapUsage=1, is great. What I did is to establish again the value of DisablePagingExecutive in default setting in system registry (only my opinion). Since then, the performance is now stable and runs better than before. And the mouse is not sticky anymore it scrolls anywhere without hassle.

Thanks William_Wilson
