trouble Bios problem

Hello,

I have a HP pavilion ze4298 notebook and flashed the bios yesterday (found on the hp.com website). The bios was flashed "correctly" but after the computer automatically reboot : "black screen" and I can do nothing with the computer.

I tried to contact hp but they said I should bring the computer to them.

Do you know if it's possible to reset the bios to a default version ?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Regards,

Jan

that doesn't sound good, possibly the backup copy of the bios was corrupted in some way?
when you start your computer, try pressing the key you use to get into bios usually delete or F8. And if you can get in, there will be a restore setting in there.
Otherwise try placing your windows disc in the drive and see if that loads, it will tell us something about the current state of some of your hardware if it will work.

*Why did you flash your bios?
