Question BIOS Help!!

Hi all,
I recently tried to clear the BIOS password that had forgotten on my laptop. It is a Zenith SalesPro Executive laptop whose configuration goes as follows:
Intel P4 3.0 GHz
512MB DDR 400
40 GB HDD
SiS661FX based Mobo

After removing and replacing the battery (after 20 mins), i started the Laptop only to see that the POST screen shows the following:

American Megatrends AMI BIOS
CPU Intel(R) Pentium(R) Processor 3.0 GHz
Speed 1.5 GHz
Press F12 for BBS popup
Initializing USB Controllers....

and then waits for sometime and then restarts. This keeps happening over and over again.

Is my BIOS kaput? Is there anyway I can reflash the BIOS or load defaults on the BIOS?

This Laptop is a cheap Chinese model....so I am not sure if I was not able to find any info on the hardware.

Can someone out there please help!!

Do you hear any beep sounds when you boot your laptop?

You can try resetting your bios password with this software utility
CmosPwd - Cmos password recovery tools 4.8

Hi Sami,
Thanks for the reply! No there are no audio beeps. Since i am not able to get the machie running, I am afraid i cant use that software you suggested. Is there any thing else that i can do? a friend of mine suggested to try hotflashing.....but for that i guess i need another board of similar hardware...

the bios does not cause the problem, it could be the motherboard, RAM or hard drive it's hard to say, but it is most likely a hardware issue when the computer will not boot at all.
