Question Best computer cust support company

I have dealt with many computer companies customer support in my career, Personally I think Dell's customer support is the best.

Which one is yours? Please vote and comment.

To be honest, I can't remember ever calling a computer manufacturer for tech support. I've always worked at the problem until I figured it out myself, or researched it on the internet if I got stumped.

Same here - I have a Packard Bell Laptop and have phoned the PC World (a UK retailer) support line a couple of times. That was OK, waiting times were good but I do pay £10/month for the privelage

I have never needed to call anybody else for any kind of repairs. I just search till i fix the problem.

lol, i'm with you guys, it's do it yourself or not at all, but my buddies parents have 2 HP computers and they seem to have good support 24/7, but it's pricey...
I actually called Dell once about a replacement part, but i got the run around so i gave up... it was a small issue nothin some copper wire and duct tape couldn't handle, lol

I'd have to go with Dell customer support on this one, mainly because I didn't get pushed around when I called them last time to replace my ol' monitor.

I've only had experience with Dell's tech support and I'd give them about a 6 outta 10, actually. They gave us a really hard time when replacing a monitor that died and still ended up sending us a refurbished one versus a new one like they promised. It was a huge 21" CRT, that needed to be used immediately, so we had to deal with it.
