Yea, I erased the old one and downloaded the driver you mentioned.
The webcam is built in so I figured the software was there but maybe
it was lost when my OS was wiped to convert to English. Any idea
where I can download that? The camera shows up nowhere in the
control panel.

this is the link to the support for my model but I can't read it to
see where the download may be. Anybody read japanese or
know sony's websites?
