Norton removal tool did not erase all
 

hi,
bought new computer with Vista and Norton built in as security program, found out does not work with my accounting program peachtree at all, so went into Norton Removal tool and downloaded and ran the program. Did erase everything except under the firewall settings it says that Norton is turned on.
What can I do to completely get Norton off of my computer, I am not able to fully use my peachtree accounting program with this

some remnants are left on c drive, had to do a clean boot, then norton was completely off of my system at this point no problems since. thanks
