I think you are wasting your time (and company money) trying to copy protect cd's / dvd's, everybody and their dog has the software to rip them nowadays...

Edit: I think from what you said in the first post, that this is for a funeral home that records the funeral service to disk for the bereaved family. If this is the software in question, all it will do if you manage to install it, it is to lock the drives on the company computers it is installed on. It will not stop the end user of the cd/dvd watching or making more copies of it at home...
