Windows XP - To many OS selection.
 

I have dual boot system of Vista and XP. During the start Windows Boot Manager, silver screen, shows dual OS viz. C:Vista and D:XP. Booting into Vista is just fine. But on selecting XP another silver screen comes up with selection for three operating systems with same name: Windows XP Professional. Selecting the first will boot into XP normally but selections second and third will Reboot the system back to Windows Boot Manager. Ideally at Windows Boot Manager selecting XP should boot the system normally instead selection screen comes up as explained earlier. I have formatted the drive partition D: and reloaded XP but in vain. Need help to fix this.
