Awww.. I feel sad for you. I can only imagine how horrible that is. I would die if I had to go back. Why don't you get fast Internet? Is it to much money, or just don't care to get it?

Origionally we had cable then switched over to AOL...which of course, completely sucked. Then we went back to cable and we have very few problems with it.

Add me to the list of cable modem users. I get a good speed for $40/month (I think that's what I pay, anyway).

I think I would suffer tremendously if I had to go back to dial-up.

I've never heard of Comcast. So i think it is only available in the US, and not in Australia.

Im using 384kbps DSL connection. It was actually called Wifi.
Anyone using this same internet connection technology. This connection is wireless. It is not connected to any phone lines or from a sattellite dish from the ISP.The only problem with these connection is the speed is unstable it may rise or drop. But overall im satisfy with my ISP's service.

I'm on DSL and I just upgraded my speed. They said it should be "UP TO" three times as fast. I love the "UP TO". It's like the price ads that say $3.99 and up. You get to the cash and it comes to $13.99... I guess I got the "UP" one.

Does anyone have that site where you can check your speed? I'd like to see.
