Virus Response Lab 2009 Manual Removal: Windows Vista and XP

Virus Response Lab 2009 (also known as Virus Response 2009) is a fake anti-malware and spyware security program. It is of popular belief that this program is a recent clone of Virus Lab 2009.

Virus Response Lab 2009 usually activates itself in a computer after a user installs the counterfeit software’s video codec. It can also infect a system through bogus error pages. The symptoms of Virus Response Lab 2009 typically include numerous pop-ups which show overstated alerts of impending threat to the system, as well as the presence of a Virus Response 2009 scanning program which was installed without the permission of a user. This virus also causes a web browser to be redirected to any of the following sites:

• anotherdnserrorz.com/security/ie6/
• virus-labs2009.com
• virus-response.com
• virusresplab.com
• virusresponse2009.com

Again, since this program is a counterfeit antivirus, one should not purchase it. The best course of action would be to remove the phony program from your system. Virus Response Lab 2009 can be automatically deleted through the use of intuitive third-party utilities, such as SpyHunter. Just as effective is the manual removal method, which should be undergone only if a user is highly familiar with dll files and registry edit files within Windows.
