Touch Pad Issue
 

Having trouble with the cursor not moving. Seems to be a touch pad issue with the Dell Studio 1737. I've clicked every function key to see if perhaps the touch pad feature is locked. I tried connecting a mouse to the USB port of the lab top and still no response. Any other tips?

if the laptop is no longer in warranty with Dell, you can try to disassemble the laptop and try reconnecting the touchpad cable
