need help i have a malware or spyware
 

I think i have a malware or spyware on my computer. Can someone else help me.

Download Spybot Search and Destroy. Run it to get rid of the crap after you have turned of System Restore if you have Win XP / vista as a operating system.

After Spybot comes up clean and you are 100% certain that there are no more nasties on your computer, turn system restore back on...

I tried the spybot and it did take some of the spyware out but the issue is still there. Something keeps turning of my automatic updates everytime i restart.

Try this....

start > control panel > admin tools > services

in the services window scroll down to

1)windows firewall and make sure it is set to automatic and it is 'Started'

2) auto updates and make sure it is set to aotomatic and that it is also started.

then apply and ok out.

I tried what u told me to do but when i apply automatic on automatic updates, and then i go back to check if it made the change it is still disabled. I tried it a few times and the result is the same. It keeps changing back to disabled.

Start>run> type: msconfig then enter...
goto startup tab; select the disable all button then restart the system.

AS the system restarts press the F8 key then select safe mode;
Login in the safe mode and do a system restore back to the last time your computer worked properly then
