Monitor Problem
 

I have Sync Master 931BF,

one thing i noticed over past two weeks is that my menu keeps popping up automatically, and does the calibration on its own without my permisson.
it has gone to point where its SO annoying to use the computer, because while midst of ANY activity, it will auto reajust.

It hasn't done this before, its just been past 2 weeks, so i am completely at loss.

the screen says analog, so i should be able to dictate the mode it works under, but i don't know why this is happening.

anyone got an idea??

Hi,

1st check that your videocable is securely attached at both ends. This propably isn't the problem but better be safe than sorry. All your symptoms IMHO indicate a mechanical failure. Samsung has a good warranty so better call them and arrange for repairs! In the usa:

To arrange for a repair, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-Samsung (1-800-726-7864) any day between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Have the model number and serial number of your monitor on hand when you call.
