How To Determine Damaged Device Drivers

Sometimes, you have troubles with lockups, blue screens, or can only get to safe mode. Generally, the problem is caused by a damaged installation or a missing hardware driver component.

You can easily identify such damaged or missing device drivers by using Driver Verifier. You can use this tool to polish driver issues, and it is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. This tool can also increase stability and reliability.

The kernel-mode components of Windows can cause system corruptions or system failures as a result of improper utilization of device drivers such as an earlier version of a Windows Driver Model (WDM).

First, open the Verifier. Afterwards, keep the Create Standard Settings default.
Next, choose the type of drivers you want to confirm. After this, a list of drivers to be verified on the next boot will be shown.
Next, restart. Afterwards, you would get an error message with the problem driver if your computer stops with a blue screen.
Finally, to turn off the Verifier, click verifier then restart your machine. :)
