For resolving above error message, either you have to install the latest Microsoft Office 2003 service pack or hotfix. After installation of the hotfix, you need to set the RepairSmartTags registry key to activate the hotfix. For activating the hotfix, follow the below mentioned steps:
1.Close all the programs related to MS-Office 2003.
2.Select Start >> Run.
3.Enter regedit, click OK.
4.Locate and select the below registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\C ommon
5.After selecting the specified registry key, click on Edit menu and select New, and then click DWORD Value.
6. Type RepairSmartTags, and then click ENTER.
7. Select an option Modify, by right clicking on RepairSmartTags.
8. Enter 1, in the Value data box, and select OK.
9. From the File menu, select Exit so that you can close Registry Editor.

Follow the steps carefully while modifying the registry. If you modify the registry incorrectly, you may face serious problems.
