How to Repair/Fix Windows 7 user profile association?
 

When Windows XP was introduced into market there was a small problem that was present in it and that was windows used to create more than four user profile folders for a single user and the only solution that was present at that time was to reinstall the OS.

The reason which makes OS to create more than one folder for the user profiles may be such as disk error, joining and dis-joining the computer from the user domain, permission issues etc. The only way to fix this problem is that edit some of the registry files and making some permissions.

ReProfiler is a application which makes it much easy to fix the user profile association. All you have to do is to follow the below steps to solve the problem:

Step 1: Download ReProfiler.

Step 2: Select the User account.

Step 3: Select the User account profile.

Step 4: Click on Assign to solve the problem i.e. assign only one folder for the same.

Step 5: Properties button can be clicked to view the properties.

Step 6: The folder can be detached by clicking on the detach button.

It has been tested successfully in Windows 7 and it is advised to take a back up of data before using it.
