Google Chrome Browser has impressed number of Internet users and is enjoying a good share also. Although we have got Google Chrome extensions, but you might not like to use them for whatever reason.

Blocking images is one handy trick to enjoy seamless browsing on slower Internet connections. So here are the ways to hide images in Google Chrome browser without using any extension.

METHOD 1:

Step 1: First of all close the Chrome browser and open this URL in some other browser so that you can read the steps completely.

Step 2: Click on the START button and then Click on RUN button and type “chrome -disable-images” and hit the ENTER key
NOTE: There is a BLANK SPACE before “-disable”.

Step 3: Now this will launch a Chrome Browser which will be blocking all the images.

And if you want to open the normal Google Chrome (without blocking images), launch it in the normal way.

METHOD 2:

Step 1: Create a new shortcut to Google Chrome Browser and name it differently like “Chrome w.o. images.”

Step 2: Right click on the shortcut and the click on the PROPERTIES option.

Step 3: Now in the TARGET field add, “ –disable-images”, at the end of the mentioned value.
NOTE: There is a BLANK SPACE before “-disable”.

Step 4: Click on OK button.

That is it. Now you can access the Google Chrome Web browser which blocks images.
