Enable “Do Not Track” Privacy on your Browser
 

Online advertisements are always essential to public websites and forums. They help generate income for webmasters, and provide additional buying options for seeking online shoppers. How does the Do-not-track feature work?

When you turn on the Do-not-track feature, your browser tells every website you visit (as well as their advertisers and other content providers) that you don't want your browsing behavior tracked. Honoring this setting is voluntary — individual websites are not required to respect it. Websites that do honor this setting should automatically stop tracking your behavior without any further action from you.

Turning on Do-not-track will not affect your ability to log into websites nor cause your browser to forget your private login and account information.



Do Not Track for Mozilla Firefox
First, I recommend that you use Mozilla Firefox 5 - there’s no point staying at Firefox 4 and even lower versions. Click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options .Select the Privacy tab. Put a check mark on ” Tell websites I do not want to be tracked”.

Do Not Track Plugin for Google Chrome
Google Chrome requires a plugin for enabling the Do Not Track feature.
This plugin is called “Keep My Opt-Outs”

Do Not Track for Internet Explorer 9
Visit the website http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Browser/DoNotTrack/Default.html and click the link for enabling Do Not Track in IE9.
A pop-up window will appear

Also, Microsoft’s website allows you to check for your browser’s Do Not Track capability and help for turning it on.

**Safari and the older Internet Explorer 8 does not support Do Not Track features.
