03-01-2007 at 05:43 AM | The down load was ok, un-zips ok and file is proper size but in the form of a .fdm (standing for floppy disk manager) file and stores the un-zipped file under (floppy disk manager library) but to create the actual boot up disk, it says to use the floppy disk manager to read the image of the .fdm file. Where is the floppy disk manager - I am trying to create the start disk on my XP machine to get my older win2000 back up and operating. Perhaps you need an operating win2000 machine to make the disks to fix a win2000 machine - maybe it can't be done from another platform ? |

03-04-2007 at 06:06 AM | There is an app you can use to make the floppy's into .cdm files rather than .fdm files whitch is called magic iso. But you have to pay for it, but you can put them on a cd and it will work if you do as I suggest.

03-22-2007 at 01:36 PM | ok, i can't figure this out. I am trying to fix 2000 onmy laptop and i got thatdamn message. I downloaded the file, unzipped it and saved to 3.5 disk. when i put the disk in the laptop, a message says "non-system disk or disk error. replace and strick any key when ready" How am i supposed to fix this? Can anyone help?? |
