Should you get a new computer because you have issues with it?
I would say no! That is not a good reason for aquiring a new computer. What are you going to do if the new one has issues with it also....replace it , too?

Your solution is to post system stats and report what issues you are having and allow the support from this site to help you repair the problems, or help determine that it is indeed non-repairable.

Most problems are readily repairable by simply cleaning your computer from malware/spyware/viruses and the likes. Start up programs can be removed from the start folder which would help speed up the computer. Other thing would be to add memory...much less costly than replacing your computer.
