Dual boot problems

Hello,
I just bought new vista computer. Read the post on dual boot with xp. Got through that ok. Problem is xp failed to load drivers to support network card, video card.. Tried to repair xp and got same result. xp does not recognized the nic or video card. Video works fine but no nic means no internet. Was hoping to use xp for a while longer to run all the programs i have. Thank you for any replies.
