Hit the nail on the head there. Is there a proxy that would do this? Or can i?

a proxy will let me go to a site but when i try to download the file extensions are blocked no matter what.

i assume file extensions are blocked by the computer technician if they are commonly downloaded ones. Maybe i could use lesser known file extensions, is there any?

When you go to a page to download it will be something like

www.site.com/file.exe

I would like to change it to www.site.com/file.XXX or www.site.com/file

thanks again for your help.
