Accept how to remove laptop password

Hi mike,
Before going to give suggestion I want to know the maker of your laptop. As I don’t know the maker of your laptop. I can suggest the following two steps.

1. Removing jumper
2. Remove CMOS battery

Removing jumper

Remove the jumper that named as any one of the following CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, JCMOS1, CLR, CLRPWD, PASSWD, PASSWORD, PSWD or PWD and switch on the laptop and off that. Now your password got cleared. Hope it may works for you.

Remove CMOS battery

If the first method don’t work means try this, as CMOS is the only thing that helps the laptop to store the password and time settings. Once you removed the CMOS battery all the password got cleared. Then replace the battery in the same position.

Mike hope the above two things may solve your problem, still you have problem means info me with detailed information I may help you.
