I changed the "log in" or "administrator" on XP. When I turn the computer on it takes a second and the screen displays "password" with the screen black. I enter the password and then the computer starts up.

I Googled this problem but only got help for losing your password or to hack in. I know the password but would like to turn the computer on and not have to type in the password. I thought this was the BIOS password...maybe I'm wrong. I also have the original backup disks if it helps.
