Default Partition Removal

Hi Clamson
How to use Disk Management to configure basic disks in Windows XP
Go to this link and scroll down to "How to Use Disk Management" Follow its instructions to Start, Run, Type, Compmgmt.msc. click OK, A window will open, ckick on "Disk Mansgement" All your hard disk drives etc will be listed. Make sure you don't have ANYTHING OF VALUE ON THE PARTITION TO BE REMOVED. just right click on the partition of the disk you want to remove, scroll down to Delete and click. It is that simple! You can make or add partitions on any unoccupied spaed. It list all the spaces etc.
I just partitioned My new 640 g hd into 4 primary units. 4 primary units is all it will allow on a hard drive. There can be an extention to the partation if desired and space available.
Good luck.
