Just downloading the driver files doesn't mean that they were properly installed or installed at all.

If the files were .exe files then you would need to double click it to start the installation. If they were zipped files then they would have to be unzipped and extracted to a folder that can be easily found.

Uninstall the previous installation of the MP3 palyer and then reinstall it using the newer driver files that you just downloaded. And all ways reboot after installing a new anything!
