Question partition opening problem

Hello Sir

I have internet connection in my computer. For the past few days when i enter in "My Computer" hard disk drive "D" "E" partition the message says "Windows is having an software encounter problem sorry for the inconvenience" it closes automatically and goes to Desktop. I cannot open "D" & "E" partition. can u suggest me.
