Xp HELP
 

I have a Sony vaio with internal recovery. The laptop crashed and I have no access to the partioned drive with the reboot. I finally got ahold of a windows xp home disk and the product id number will not be accepted for the life of me. I need help bad. I had to install windows 2000 instead. I would like to no if there is any help out there. Im currently in Iraq and cant download any shareware products. I would really appriciate if I could get some keys sent this way. Or some advice.THX

A problem you may have encountered is if the cd you used is of a different Service Pack version than your key it will not work.
