1 more question ,when ya open folders in xp pro and try to rearrange sub folders , they automatically jump back to where they were no matter what ya do , is there a way to kill this auto arrange/align feature so i can manipulte sub folders to group them where i want them?

If you are trying to remove the grid like pattern, and force the icons to be anywhere, simply change the view style to tile or icons, then right click in the window and uncheck auto arrange.
Now you can place a folder at any position you like :)
