removing a virus from Laptop

How do I connect my Vista Laptop to my XP Desktop to use a virus removal tool controlled from my computer and remove virus when laptops system will not reboot? Laptop system turns on but a blue screen comes up with an error code that will not boot system due to incompatibility of a software program previously downloaded. Cannot get into Windows to remove program or system restore. Lost Adm password but ran all memory and all hardware tests which showed no errors in system. Ran a full diagnostic test and it passes. Try to put in System Vista CD to restore system and same blue screen error. Can't reboot system. Do I need to replace the hard drive?

tips to solve

no need to replaced your hard drive, if your hard drive is still detected its mean your hard drive is good, the one problem of that is you are using a different cheapset, the cheapset of your laptop and your desktop are not the same. thats why the blue screen and error code affair. to solve that problem; if your laptop is virus infected and you want to connect to your desktop pc to scan viruses. you need to get the hard disk drive of your laptop and slave it to your desktop.. but a lot of things to do.. you need laptop to desktop ide connector so that you can slave your hdd laptop to desktop.. another option is, install new operating system.. or format your hard drive.. to surely clean you system..
