Processor for gaming and engineering softwares.
 

Hi, one of my friend wants to purchase a laptop. He is interested in gaming and some engineering softwares that he wants to use with the laptop. I am looking for suggestion as to what kind of processor would suit him. He is looking for Intel or AMD. Kindly suggest the best one.

Either one of the high end processors would work fine for him for his purposes. he should be looking at high end graphics though as well. But keep in mind that he just isn't going to get that much from limiting himself to a laptop.
