Problem with installing Microsoft Accounting Express 2009

2 Attachment(s)
I downloaded the free version of Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2009 from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ac...px?ofcresset=1. It failed to install correctly. Error said: "Setup failed to install required component Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express (MSSMLBIZ). Microsoft Office Accounting 2009 cannot continue..."
I have attached the images of the 2 error messages I got. Any idea what the problem might be and how I can solve it? Thanks!

The access control list fouls up in some computer installations with the SQL server. The files are corrupted and you need to remove all the SQL server files.

Uninstall from control panel if you have them listed there

Microsoft SQL Server native client

Microsoft SQL Server Setup Support files

Microsoft SQL Server VSS writer

Moved directory C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1 to another location for possible use.

Then deleted everything under Microsoft SQL Server in c:\Program Files

No w reinstall your program and it should install properly this time!

Thanks for your reply. I followed your advise, and removed the three Microsoft SQL programs from the Add/Remove Programs. Then I removed the entire Microsoft SQL directory from Program Files. The only thing I didn't find, was C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1. So I couldn't move it.

Then I tried to re-install the program. I thought that this time I'm successful, but NO! Same stupid error messages. And to make things worse, I can't get Microsoft Word to work now, it's asking for the XP installation disk! (Excel and FrontPage still working...)

What now?
